Join us for a new instalment of the Laidlaw Alumni Society Career Panel Series and find out how you can succeed in the Software Engineering industry!

The panel discussion will explore the panellists’ experiences, the Software Engineering industry, and how to get into Software Engineering.

Gareth has had a varied career, having founded start ups, worked for large traditional companies and now Facebook where he leads engineering for Commerce Opportunities - an area which focuses on making commerce businesses successful. He has been heavily involved in the open source community with Apache and has a keen interest in Diversity and Inclusion in Tech.

OMAR HAQ

Regional Tech Lead, Citadel LLC

Senior engineering leader with a demonstrated history of leading technical teams. Experience working within DevOps, Site Reliability, and Production Engineering.
