Before the First Cut: Can AI Predict Who Makes It Home?

My Laidlaw research at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard: using machine learning on 4,974 double knee replacement patients to predict who won't go straight home. 4 in 10 didn't. BMI, age and preoperative haematocrit were the strongest predictors.
