My project will essentially focus on the features of disinformation that allow it to spread and strengthen online. The intended outcome is to find certain patterns in disinformation that could mean it spreads much easier and becomes 'viral' more easily.

Disinformation is different to misinformation because it is false information that is deliberately intended to mislead - intentionally making the misstating facts. Misinformation is more general as it getting the facts wrong regardless of intent. The key distinction between the two is intent. 
I believe disinformation is an extremely relevant topic to research today, and through this research project I'm hoping to discover some new insights as to how disinformation spreads online so easily.
