Dear Laidlaw Network,

I am excited to share the results of my two-month research internship at EPFL’s CREATE Lab (Computational Robot Design & Fabrication Lab), where I worked on optimizing morphing, teleoperated, and lightweight exploration robots.

I had the privilege to participate in a one-week field campaign in collaboration with the University of Tokyo around Mount Asama in Karuizawa. During this campaign, we tested the robot I developed over the course of my internship. The final demonstration featured a drone flight, where I teleoperated the robot using FPV goggles.
