I am pleased to upload my final report for my summer research project, exploring the best ways to reduce soil loss in the Wear Catchment. Throughout this project I worked with my supervisor Professor John Wainwright to use his erosion model MAHLERAN, explored the SCIMAP approach with Dr Sim Reaney, and consulted the Agricultural Team at the Wear Rivers Trust to deepen my understanding of this topic.

My research experience overall was a steep but enjoyable learning curve and although I was unable to produce the depth of results I had hoped for, I am proud to present this final report.
