For my Laidlaw Research Project I looked at North African contribution to the French Internal Resistance. Part of this research meant travelling to Paris and consulting the military archives and visiting various museums to support and broaden my understandings. This project was a great thing to have gotten the opportunity to work on and something, I feel, is so potent to conversations around race, nationality and modern politics today.
