This project pushed me well beyond my previous academic experience. I tackled advanced machine learning concepts, while also delving into complex biophysical processes I had never studied. Along the way I learnt a new programming language and preserved through inevitable setbacks. Under the guidance of my supervisor, I grew into a more resilient researcher, and I am proud of the challenges I overcame and the skills I developed.

I am deeply grateful to my supervisor for their support, and the Computer Science department at Durham University for providing me a comfortable space to work.
