I am a junior at Tufts University in Medford, MA. Although my studies focus on biochemistry, I also have interests in bridging barriers for low-income, first-generation students getting into college. I volunteer on the side as an advising fellow through the nonprofit organization Matriculate and launched my own resource website targeting important resources for first-gen, low-income students who are applying to college during the pandemic. I am an EMT on the side; through this job, I continue to learn more about patient care and emergency medicine. In addition, I enjoy yoga, volleyball, Brazilian culture, black and white photography, and skincare. Hopefully, after COVID-19 calms down, I will get some experience working in a tissue engineering lab at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
