Modeling Mixing Dynamics of the Salton Sea - Community Science

Alongside Alianza Coachella Valley, I worked with Professor Mara Freilich to model the mixing dynamics of the Salton Sea, a hypersaline lake in California. We hope to predict how hydrogen sulfide release, a toxic gas plaguing the lake's surrounding community, will change as the lake shrinks.
