LiA Poster: From Silence to Support

During my Leadership-in-Action placement at UP, I had the opportunity to work across research, strategy, communications and business development — from mapping potential growth opportunities to understanding how different audiences engage with UP’s work.
More than the outputs themselves, the experience taught me how to work through uncertainty, think beyond the data, adapt to different perspectives, and trust my own ability to contribute in an unfamiliar sector.
I’m leaving with a much clearer understanding of what leadership can look like in practice: not always having the answers, but asking better questions, making sense of uncertainty, and helping others move forward.
