Laidlaw Report: Network Analysis of Political Discourse during Nepalese Maoist Insurgency
This study employs mathematical network analysis to examine the structure of political discourse during Nepal’s Maoist insurgency. By modeling relationships among key actors, concepts, and events, it quantifies influence and ideological clustering within conflict-era narratives. The research demonstrates how computational methods can uncover the hidden architecture of political language and its role in shaping power and legitimacy.
