For my summer of research, I worked in the McVey Lab at Tufts University, which is a molecular biology lab that uses Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism to study DNA repair mechanisms. I am still working in the lab studying the CG7139 protein and polymerase eta, and I intend to continue my research throughout my time at Tufts. The complementary poster will be posted following this paper.
