Post-Apartheid Reconciliation: The rainbow nation's greatest success or a divided country's worst failure?
I have spent the last few weeks in South Africa, first in warm and sunny Johannesburg and now in wet and windy Cape Town, researching the ways in which ethnicity affects South Africans' recollections of the post-apartheid era, and their experiences of reconciliation.
Project Outline: An Assessment of the Environmental Viability of the Ecotourism Model within Boracay Island, Philippines
This is a brief overview of my research project. This project concerns the efficacy of the emerging ecotourism model present on Boracay Island in the Philippines. It holds specific focus to the environmental impacts of tourism, and how we can potentially mitigate them along coastal ecosystems.
