My second week with Laws of Motion has been incredibly interesting. I’ve learned so much from the team, which, though small, is highly effective and inspiring. I’ve had more meetings with them to understand the progression of Laws and their past social impact initiatives. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, they pivoted to producing PPE to address a critical shortage for frontline heroes. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the various components that made this possible, from logistics with local government to the distribution of PPE to healthcare workers. These conversations highlight how social startups can effectively partner with governmental organizations to create positive social impact. Overall, I’m really appreciating the dynamic energy of the team; being flexible and communicative is crucial.
