Carbohydrate-digesting enzymes a-amylase and a-glucosidase raise glucose levels. Synthetic inhibitors like acarbose help but have side effects. Fruit-derived polyphenols and anthocyanins offer natural alternatives. This study tests 10 fruit extracts for anti-diabetic potential.
