Expanding Workshops and Outreach
This week, I refined lesson plans to include more conversational practice and question-asking strategies. The workshops became less about memorizing lists of words and more about building confidence to speak up in unfamiliar situations. Meanwhile, I worked on outreach by helping finalize bilingual pamphlets that highlighted CSC’s services and encouraged more families to attend sessions. Making these resources accessible in both English and Chinese was important for ensuring that information reached those who needed it most.
