And after this week, I’d be halfway through with my LiA! It was insane how time sprinted by. Me and my cohort-mates would keep reeling from how time flew for the remaining four weeks.
I really enjoyed the music session we did on repetition in rap. We got lyrics from Kendrick Lamar’s Superbowl performance, from pieces such as “Squabble Up,” “Humble,” and “DNA.”

By the time week 3 was over, it became clear that we had started getting into the flow of our routines, programming in the evenings, and KG in the mornings of Tuesdays and Fridays. I really admired how the kids loved the rap rhythms, and how we got to know each one of them more through their interests during programming, be it the ones who liked being expressive while singing, or the ones who wanted to be in charge of the wireless speaker, or rap their own pieces.
