It's been a busy week - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I was working on my research project - getting started on my reliability coding.
However, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I also had the Laidlaw leadership programme on zoom. Overall, this was a very valuable experience - not only did I get to know some of the scholars in my cohort but it also made me aware of how I can become a better leader.
The programme consisted of 4 zoom sessions focusing on developing 'myself', understanding leadership and preparing for my research project. As part of this I took part in a group project where we made a presentation on rebuilding connections which, we received great feedback on!
Also on Thursday I had the chance to meet some of my cohort at a picnic on campus which was really lovely to see people in person :)
I also received my report from the personality inventory I took as part of the scholarship - this has shown me some areas I need to work on and I'm looking forward to going through this in the scholar coaching sessions.
Excited for next week to do more of my research!
