Last summer, I started working for the Equity in America Project as its first undergraduate. The Equity in America Project is a Visualization platform founded by Tisch College that allows to cross different democraphic variables and observe inequities in American Society across race, gender, health status, and socioeconomic standing. While my jobs last year were making my own research briefs and data fact-checking, this year I had the oppurtunity to get new undergraduates coming onto the project situation and give them the lay of the land, thus allowing them to feel more situatuated and comfortable so that productivity could increase.
