Summer 1 Research Poster
This is my poster from my research period during my first summer with Laidlaw. During the first summer, I did a lab-based research project on immune cells with a TET2 mutation. We looked at their role in a group of blood disorders called Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs) and here is a poster all about it!

I'm a medical student at the University of York interested in immunology, public health, as well as education and leadership within health care! My research project is about understanding how mutations in immune cells impact a certain group of rare bone marrow disorders (MPNs) that can lead to cancer.
